Where Nature & History Meet

Education is the foundation for all of our work at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center. Spreading awareness on the importance of native plants through our nursery, teaching children about water quality with aquatic invertebrates, demonstrating proper management of native warm season grasses with prescribed fire, or sharing the wonder of songbird migration by hearing the heartbeat of a banded Ruby-throated Hummingbird; Strawberry Plains believes education is part of everything we do. Our 3,000 acre sanctuary is a demonstration site for engaging our community on proper land management to benefit birds and other wildlife for biodiversity.
