Join us for fall series of Mindfulness in Nature, focusing on clearing your mind, sharpening your senses, and connecting with nature. This course reflects current research combining the enjoyment of mindfulness and nature immersion.
After a group introduction to the principals of deep focus on the present place and moment, participants will spend some time in quiet and solitude, moving outdoors to breathe in the wonder of the natural world. During this time with no agenda other than to pay attention, you might find yourself surprised by experiences of decreased stress and increased perception.
Audubon Naturalist and mindfulness practitioner, Elaine Gelbard, will lead this course on the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 8 am - 10 am September 15th, and November 17th; and 12:30 - 2:30 pm on October 20th.
FREE and open to the public. Suggested donation of $5 per person.
