Join us for an introductory mini-series on clearing your mind, sharpening your senses, and connecting with nature. This course reflects current research combining the enjoyment of mindfulness and nature immersion.
After a group introduction to the principals of deep focus on the present place and moment, participants will spend some time in quiet and solitude, moving outdoors to breathe in the wonder of the natural world. During this time with no agenda other than to pay attention, you might find yourself surprised by experiences of decreased stress and increased perception.
Audubon Naturalist and mindfulness practitioner, Elaine Gelbard, will lead this course from 8 am - 10 am June 16th, 23rd and 30th.
FREE and open to the public. Suggested donation of $5 per person.
Minimum age of 16.
